Our restaurant is an important piece of the history of Santa Caterina Valfurva, and it conserves the name of the old Caffè Bormio, founded in 1896 for travellers on their way to and from the Stelvio pass. It was the predecessor to the Hotel Baita Fiorita.
This space also preserves intact the love of wood, attention to detail and the warm hospitality of the Compagnoni family for a very special evening.
The focus is on local dishes from the Valtellinese tradition, like the classic Pizzoccheri (buckwheat pasta strips with potatoes, cheese and Swiss chard) as well other recipes that have been knowingly revisited.
Every course cherishes tradition, and can be accompanied by
excellent local wines.
The finishing touches come from a selection of teas and aromatic
herbal infusions and an innate attention to detail, for a truly
magical atmosphere.
The Hotel Baita Fiorita is also a restaurant, open to all, reservation required.
